Zen Master

I was reading today that in Zen Buddhism what is important is not the future or the past, but the now. In this sense Gucci is a Zen master. His life is completely in the now. There is no past and no future. It is so sad to put him in the living room and just watch him. He does not move for hours until you pick him up and move him. When I look in his eyes, he seems so sad with how his life has been reduced. I was also thinking he does not play anymore. Think of how important play is to a dog. He does not play anymore. For Gucci there is no finish line! It was another beautiful day, actually a Father's Day. Gucci gave me a cute card. He spent most of the day outside resting or sleeping comfortably.
